Privacy Policy

The short version. Our apps are usable without an account. Where an app offers one, it asks for a nickname and a password rather than an email address. We do not sell personal data. This website currently sets no cookies and runs no scripts.
This policy describes how things work today. Products change, and section 11 explains how we handle that: material changes are published here before they take effect, and the store listings are updated to match.
1. Who we are
Hufbdo ("we", "us") develops and publishes mobile games and applications. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Hufbdo is the data controller for the limited processing described below.

2. Our mobile apps
As of this version, our apps contain no advertising, no analytics or attribution SDKs and no crash-reporting service, and we do not sell personal data or disclose it to third parties for their own purposes. Should we introduce any of these — for example advertising in a free app, or crash reporting to make debugging possible — we will say so here and in the relevant store listing before the version that does it is released.
Game progress, scores, history, achievements and preferences are written to the app's private storage on your device. An app is fully usable that way, signed out.
Some apps additionally offer an optional account,
used for features that cannot work locally — a leaderboard, or a backup so a new phone
starts where you left off. Creating one stores a nickname you choose, a hashed password and
your results on our own server (api.hufbdo.com, run by us, hosted in Germany).
We do not ask for an email address, a phone number or a real name.
Our apps also ask that server once per launch whether there is a message to show you — a new version, or a notice. That request carries a random per-installation identifier, the platform and the app version. It is not an advertising id, it is not linked to you, and reinstalling produces a new one. We use it to count installations, to show each message only once, and to see which versions are still in use.
Local data is included in device backups you make yourself (iCloud, Google, or a computer), under the terms of whoever provides that backup. Deleting the app deletes it permanently, and an in-app reset erases it without uninstalling. To delete an account and everything attached to it, write to trifumarius01@gmail.com with your nickname; we remove it within 30 days.

3. This website
hufbdo.com is a static website. It currently sets no cookies, uses no analytics, embeds no third-party trackers and runs no scripts that identify you. If we later add anything that does — for example a privacy-respecting audience measure — this section will say so, and we will ask for consent where the law requires it.
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as our hosting and content delivery provider. To serve a page and to protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical connection data such as your IP address, the requested URL, your browser's user agent and a timestamp. This is standard server-log processing, retained by Cloudflare for a short period and used only for delivery, security and abuse prevention. We do not build profiles from it and do not combine it with anything else.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in delivering a working, secure website.
4. Email
If you write to us for support or any other reason, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering you, or performance of a contract where your message concerns an app you obtained from us. We delete support correspondence once it is no longer useful, and in any case within 24 months.
5. App stores
When you download one of our apps from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store is an independent controller of the data it collects about the download, your payment (where applicable) and your account. We receive only aggregate, non-identifying sales and download figures. Their handling of your data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
If you install an app by downloading an APK directly from this website, no store is involved and the request is handled as described in section 3.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability, plus the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Romania that is the ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
In practice, the only personal data we hold about anyone is email correspondence. To exercise any right, write to trifumarius01@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
Our apps are suitable for all ages and collect no data from anyone, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 through any channel. If you believe a child has sent us personal data by email, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International transfers
Cloudflare operates a global network, so a request to this website may be served from a data centre outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare provides appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Security
The website is served over HTTPS only. Because our apps hold no data on any server of ours, there is no central store to breach. Data on your device is protected by your device's own security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products develop — when an app gains a feature, when a service provider changes, or when the law does. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its date and version number at the top.
For changes that materially affect how we handle personal data, we will publish the updated policy before the change takes effect, note it in the release notes of any affected app, and update the corresponding App Store and Google Play disclosures. Where the law requires your consent for a particular use, we will ask for it rather than assume it.
Continuing to use our apps or this website after an update means you accept the revised policy. If you would rather not, you can stop using them at any time and ask us to delete any account you hold, as described in section 6.
